Seeking a General Manager to Join Our Team at SCHIP!
The General Manager will oversee our retail shop and donation warehouse. This position will work collaboratively with the Board, staff and volunteers to continue to build on a retail program and warehouse workflow strategy that reflects SCHIP’s unique brand and goals.
Candidates should have retail, inventory control and managerial experience. We seek a candidate with a passion for and knowledge of fashion, strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time, excellent communication and customer service skills, computer skills, and a friendly, professional demeanor.
Mission:
SCHIP is an acronym for Shelburne Charlotte Hinesburg Interfaith Projects. It was formed in 2003 as a 501(c)(3) organization of local faith communities. We work together to raise funds for grants to improve the lives of our neighbors and to strengthen our communities. The funds are generated by the sale of items donated to SCHIP. From store proceeds, over $1,000,000 in grants have been made to support food shelves and emergency aid, community projects, education, health and welfare needs.
SCHIP is invested in the community and our staff is the foundation of our investment.

Salary Range: $40,000- $65,000
40 hours/week, M-F, some Saturdays.
