Donations We Take

Give us your best, we'll put it to great use!

SCHIP Upscale Resale depends on high-quality donations. We welcome donations of clean, gently used items, including clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, small housewares, decorative items, and art.  We will be happy to give you a receipt for tax deduction purposes.

At this time, we ask that you bring only two bags or boxes of donations. Donations are accepted Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm. Please call the shop (802.985.3595) if you have questions or large quantities to donate. We may be able to visit your home to assist you.

We accept any season clothing & shoes, jewelry, functional & decorative houseware, and blankets & quilts at any time during the year, provided it is gently used. Clothing should be clean with no tears, missing buttons, or broken zippers.  

We do not accept:

 Underwear unless it is new and still packaged

Stained, torn, or heavily worn clothing

Appliances

Books

Electronics

Hangers

Sheets, bed pillows, or towels

Stuffed animals

Suitcases or duffel bags

Toys

PLEASE LIMIT YOUR DONATION TO TWO (2) BAGS PER DAY

We are a charitable shop with a small staff and no dumpster. Thank you for your consideration in not leaving items we cannot sell.

We do not take consignments.
